A beginning! I so love beginnings. The fresh page, the new face, the first greatly desired chocolate biscuit. I am certainly a beginnings girl. And beginning this blog has been in my heart for toooo long. So, to finally get into it is rather wonderful.

Being a beginnings girl, I am full of hope and wonder at what this blog journey will entail. I feel the thrill and excitement of the new. Are you a beginnings person like me?
So you’ll be feeling a little thrill at having discovered me too! How fun to be in the same emotional moment, though in this cyber world, of course it’s not in the same moment in time.

You’ll be wanting to know something about me. Well, bit by bit things will drip out of me, as they do when we meet someone else. I’ll share the bit of me I’m most ready to share, and you’ll….. Well, you’ll be there somewhere in the margins of the screen, invisible to me. But please don’t be! How about sharing some of you with me too, and then you can help me draw out the bits of me that might be interesting to you.

The first bit I’m comfortable sharing is explaining something about my Blog title. Life Without Mathematics. That’s where I am with my life right now. I’m really happy to have a life that is full of inconsistencies and muddle. I am happy to be someone who feels I don’t really know the answer to much at all. I’m not someone who’ll give you the right way to clean your house. Actually if I was in your place, I might not even notice anything about it much at all. So, scoot off to other lovely blogs like Flylady to get on top of your cleaning concerns (PS I know about her because my shiny sink is all thanks to her!).

What will you discover if you keep coming here? A bit of this and a bit of that, and a bit of the other! Maybe that will work for you, and maybe it won’t. Oh dear. Let me know along the way, won’t you?!

  1. I wondered what your blog title meant. I never thought to come to your first post (der!). Thanks for explaining it and for Rewinding this weekend x

  2. I love beginnings too - though i found it hard to find your post! If you link the specific url for the post, it makes it easier!
